1 r9 s3 R- M1 [" }宁玛巴的很多成就者们留与后代的世间财产,虽然不能与所谓的富翁同日而语,但他们以3 n; K3 B! o6 w& v2 T
0 \6 q0 x4 E4 A, V' U
智悲精华凝聚而成的智慧宝库,却丰富多彩、琳琅满目,令世间富翁们望尘莫及。只要有
. [: M4 Y) Y1 V* O' d  }: g
. g6 K; z. j+ Q- T0 h; Q2 J信心的钥匙,在此宝库中都能找到令自己欣喜若狂的珍宝。

Nyingmapa masters have not left much worldly inheritances to their successors when compared
" G1 w0 t# z, D7 q1 Q1 G0 F+ j% C) k1 P! @: s. L( p3 G# R- _+ N
with those wealthy tycoons. But the masters have far surpassed the worldly riches in leaving
, n" I# i/ ~$ E+ X
- Y1 @9 V7 o! U7 w$ K; Btheir followers the wisdom legacy, treasure troves filled with dazzling arrays of sublimated  h6 z* G: s& q3 n
+ H9 B; o0 i; L7 ?9 O7 W4 h
wisdom and compassion. Anyone equipped with the key of faith will discover in the vault gems
6 ]1 E6 z" p, s! v/ F6 c6 W2 P& I8 j  w4 E/ f2 [' @, `
that bring boundless joy.% K# f$ ~2 ^0 Z9 ~7 Z8 A0 e
9 a3 s% w4 V5 n' J" }/ h: a$ {1 u
今天,我到喇拉曲智仁波切的宝库里逛了逛。里面的宝物不可胜数,让贪婪的我一阵阵狂
! d3 s0 Q4 b' R4 N3 e5 _! a. H; g& B, M2 V
喜。但因力气有限,难以全部背负而出。只有选择一段认识心性的教言,忍不住想翻译过
# W/ [8 k( k& F
6 o; D: g' l* n& a来,分享与人。希望没灌大圆满顶的道友不要偷看,否则护法会惩罚的。
4 N1 ^/ S/ o% ]6 [( }( G% w8 O# m
  Q5 Q" e& ]" B: D1 V
Today, I made a trip to Lhala Chodri Rinpoche’s treasure chamber and toured around./ Q9 m# M% V$ w5 {2 N4 ~0 U

' w' M# b  G3 ?Innumerable jewels and gems filled the place to the brim and made me, who always craves more/ U& z5 z0 W$ Z& Y
5 n, O3 B8 y4 x1 h( y: F
Dharma, ecstatic to no end. But with my limited strength, I was unable to bring out all the
6 u" D: z3 @. m( F; |* A! q- U6 ^! p; p% s, c( X
treasures I saw. I could not resist, however, translating one passage on recognizing the nature of9 u) Q! \  K. g( Z# O0 [% ]

+ _) c5 H0 u2 a! P6 A( othe mind. While I’d love to share it with Dharma friends, those who have not received the- ~; }0 T: r, S9 E: H5 s
" R- x. z1 D. g) s# J  `6 N
transmission on Great Perfection should refrain from reading it. Otherwise, a reprimand from the
2 c' e8 A. k5 I1 w4 P
& N1 v5 T% T* H# d  A1 IDharma Protectors is sure to come.% f8 o3 i: ?' w4 M: }2 [
2 b9 ~2 x9 t# B3 B) _
“略说直指之心宝:一切万法依心而显现,观察起心动念之心,却无有所得。观察自己之
! N# Y! k6 l- l* o
9 Z# {" ?: c+ g心,其颜色形状皆不可得。无始之心乃为分别念所假立。真正寻觅‘我’与‘我心’,皆
0 v( {% [) N( r4 Z# s" a' b9 h! G0 n+ x$ ~1 q* n3 `/ T
为空性。除此之外,毫无实质,这是中观的见解。自己的心无有寻觅,自然安住于空性与
. Q" c) i$ p9 \. T" H4 ~( V: D3 G1 x' {) H5 G" f
显现不灭,自明自知的境界,这就是大圆满的境界。于此境界中不随外境而散乱,不被细
5 q9 W  s. D- T9 m, _( @7 {0 \2 U! `3 j* c2 ?3 {& J
微分别念所染污,以正知正念护持明然了然之心,如河流之相续般长期修持,极为重要。
3 z, Y# Q2 o4 V) P) s" j) A- T1 A/ P1 u7 T/ F6 G
此外,以修皈依、发心、上师瑜伽,断恶行善等世间善法为助缘。我宁玛老人索朗钦则(喇

拉曲智仁波切的名字)平时所修持的唯有这些。愿其成为有缘者之心宝。”

4 [) n0 `( O& X“Briefly, the heart treasure of direct pointing out is as follows: All phenomena appear because of
# Y* k/ u7 x0 ^. Z6 y3 w  S( h5 |0 J; ?8 _& G9 c
the mind. When one investigates the mind that is having the thought, one finds nothing. Looking/ w' b4 y4 Y+ n5 M

. e+ R6 d' i) y$ Zfor one’s mind, there are no shapes or colors of it to be found. The thing we called mind since
8 O1 E+ w9 \" y3 e1 @2 R- ]; J
+ R- G/ b& q+ Rbeginning-less time is only an imputation of conceptual thinking. A thorough investigation of the
9 l( r4 r" h+ U
1 s7 |+ y, e% U. J. H7 a/ ~/ t‘I’ and ‘my mind’ yields only emptiness. Other than that, there is nothing substantial; this is the
0 q  l7 D+ l# r7 G
9 t9 O# l& ]: A8 zview of Madhyamaka. Our mind, when no longer searching around, naturally abides in emptiness
2 B  n4 k3 k: V/ x) n. _3 K5 [& P6 f. p& c% V" c3 Y7 j: D
and the unceasing display of phenomena. Such a state of self-knowing and clarity is the realm of
& o% N( q' T7 L" `/ Y5 _5 D4 H4 A+ M+ _  F. ?& e
Great Perfection. Remaining thus undistracted by external objects and unsullied by subtle5 m7 K3 F! w  V) Q3 S
7 L9 j4 c2 n$ p, i: E$ t2 h8 @
discursive thoughts, one maintains a luminous and knowing mind with the right view and- `( @) v* f7 t) ^" R

9 p+ n4 [- ?0 U4 a- r# Mmindfulness. It’s important to practice continuously, like a great unremitting stream. Besides,# U  i( ^5 W4 X) \
, S0 r+ Q7 J" H. t. S' j3 q- X
one also must maintain supportive practices such as taking refuge, generating bodhichitta,& z9 z, ~& E( b
2 Y8 k% [% |/ C4 F2 }
practicing guru yoga, as well as observing worldly virtues of doing good deeds and abandoning# L. x+ l! ~! P- V

$ b2 B9 [6 m# A$ m4 z3 I  ?- Z; pevils. For me, the old yogi of Nyingmapa, Sonan Lanchen, there are no other daily practices
# l# J5 C6 z$ Y5 ^' B2 r6 w* T$ M  d' N0 B
besides these. May beings with fortunate karma also come to know this heart treasure!”  L3 \( k4 @. ]1 {4 u

) A0 ?% k( l6 y: _/ n如今,我们得到了如此珍贵的心宝,实在应当珍惜。

# P4 |5 ^: X) m& J! ]6 V3 T7 [. \9 V& p" b
At this moment, we’ve received such a precious heart treasure, shouldn’t we cherish it dearly?3 a/ J( S; H5 Y. C

/ _6 ]& Y& m# @) y也有一些人,自以为是大圆满的根基,不修皈依、发心、上师瑜伽,断恶行善等世间善法) W2 R4 p# E9 U* P( j! o

- [& B1 }6 \6 j0 k" y; _% t: e5 ?,认为那是下等根基的行为。难道他的根基超过了传承祖师?

6 b" A. ?; y- `5 ^0 z! W- f/ Y  _2 G0 ?) \
Of course there are people who regard themselves as possessing sharp faculties for Great
& B- N$ p6 N) O& b
5 }1 K% w& `, }7 _) VPerfection. They regard taking refuge, doing guru yoga, arousing bodhichitta, adopting worldly  J. `+ p8 P0 r( S7 x9 Z

4 s8 [6 o1 D2 O5 F, Nvirtues, and abandoning evils as practices for dull people only and choose to ignore them. Do
: E9 ?7 v5 l* l3 h7 C$ D% T7 j1 L9 h8 K* E) V
they really think their aptitudes surpass those of our lineage masters?
& n* C/ |' M5 F. k9 r
: t- R' @6 K. `9 u. X前辈大德们交付予后学者的教言心宝,已经毫无保留地呈现在我们面前,只有逐字逐句地5 b9 Q3 }$ b5 ]5 t% J9 X

6 R' ?8 e- I7 z# p/ Q/ s, l思维,并融入自己的相续,认识心的本性,并长期修持,才能无愧于上师三宝的大恩加被8 w! n" |" u( H1 W8 T

  z, S# N' G& _The heart treasures left by our past masters have now been fully revealed to us without any' }* O1 v( z; m  k1 C
. }1 n  k' w& x* |
reservation. We should reflect upon them deeply, word by word, to permeate our mind with
1 T/ \! w( c% c+ s# S9 a5 d5 ]( E* f# s+ Y8 S  Y
them, recognize the nature of the mind, and continue the practice for a long period of time. Only1 v0 o: b9 [7 I/ u- M

1 ^% ], L# e; G1 H* j6 oby so doing can we prove ourselves worthy of the kind blessings from our masters and the Three
