it refining one’s cultural taste. Totally mesmerized by the entertainment, it never occurs to them) d4 `. q7 J5 K, ~

that they ought to reflect inwardly or to think twice about what they are doing. As to the issue of! H" A, B$ x5 e1 ]* e3 J
+ M/ u7 Y6 z- G% `; e% ]death, it’s something far too remote to think about.

the path of life. Just as one recklessly enjoys happiness, the nemeses—sickness, old age, and

8 d/ v3 { p6 h5 j, T! hdeath—wait always around the corner. How could a wise person be joyful when facing the

7 T! u3 [# h. U4 T3 Oindulging himself in sensual pleasures day and night and eventually, he lost the once-mighty

kingdom to enemies. Worse, as he was detained in other states, he still took delight in watching
$ B+ L, V$ }- b: ^5 k8 i5 I8 U
9 X* D6 }* l5 Cthe chambermaids’ dancing and gloated shamelessly: “I’m too delighted to be homesick!” In him# x' K6 r8 z* m
% H7 U/ b& o) P; X% J- G
there was not the slightest remorse or anguish that his Shu Kingdom had been conquered. What

2 G6 M6 ~; F0 f有的修行人也一样,终日沉迷于歌舞升平的生活,毫不察觉死主将临,实在与刘禅无异。

Many so-called practitioners, regaling themselves in pleasure all the time, are also entirely( N8 e. G0 j/ ], l* }/ e" C' o# O
! R- O" s3 Q% d0 i4 q4 Doblivious to the imminent arrival of the Lord of Death. They do not fare any better than Liu Chan.

+ p2 O3 r) C8 K你在台下看戏,殊不知自己也正在人生的大舞台上扮演着自己的角色。如何使之更加丰美, F4 e% E3 T/ c
