Some friends and family have gotten the full impact of it in the last
# z4 q* g/ e7 ]8 B$ J7 g7 L5 ]. efew hours, and I must say they are VERY patient.  By now, however,
they should be used to me and my toys.

I stopped at Office Depot today and bought a CanoScan LiDE 90
: f2 f) G* ^; O$ ~7 T2 |scanner.  For months now I\'ve been wanting a simple scanner for my
5 h1 s1 z; X6 O) d4 tslides and photos. Every other place I went to, like Wal*Mart and
Target, only sold the printer/copier/fax/scanner units.  I already own
all of that except for the scanner and wasn\'t about to spend hundreds
of dollars for more than I need.

0 t/ O% e0 H* i( i  v1 tThis scanner costing under $80 does a great job on my photos, even the
ones of me as a baby.  My slides of astronomical art by Morris Scott
! t7 J) |7 X& FDollens come out okay even after collecting dust for decades.  I
" Q9 l, {& j& B) }  nshould be kept busy for days scanning all the photos I\'ve saved over
the years in an old suitcase.  Now if I could only figure out who all
those people in really old photos are!
