Key Responsibilities: You will be working as the Hotel booking (Hotel Reservation) assistant 1, It will be mainly the hotel requests on a daily basis fromSouth East Asia sales offices via in-house computer system and prioritise thework load according to deadlines, arrival dates etc 2, Contacting hotels according to the sales requirements either bye-mail, fax or telephone to make a reservation 3, Inputting and checking rates onto the in-house computer systemand negotiating other conditions such as cancellation policies, rooms decreaseand upgrades 4, Providing suitable alternatives when required and negotiatingpossible compensations when hotels do not provide the standard of servicerequired 5, Dealing with amendments and cancellations 6, Receiving the quotation enquiries from the sales team from oursouth East Asia office. You will be doing the pricing quotation based on hoteland coach price, plus our margin and then feedback to the sales team. 7, Negotiating the price and credit facility with the hotel What we are looking for: 1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are requiredas you will be required to communicate effectively with colleagues, customersand industry professionals throughout the UK and globally. Fluent at French orItalian will be a big bonus. 2. Ideally you have worked in the travel industry in the past withthe similar hotel booking experience. 3, Must be patient, can sit down in front of the laptop all daylong.
