有等持及观想能力的人,依靠意幻供养不仅方便而且功德很大。其具体方法如下:, w# u, t' @; i, H
Making mental offerings generates great merit. It is an easy task for those skilled in
7 m* \+ U) G8 o$ h8 x6 b4 N5 l; }concentration and visualization. The following provides specific steps:* P5 y5 {% }& m; n) s
以等持观想各种供品持于手中,供养释迦牟尼佛或其他佛菩萨。若观想能力成熟,可观想
9 g/ g- Z8 m, A) q3 v! u! R2 v* P; S尽法界、尽虚空界,遍满诸传承上师、十方三世一切佛,种种菩萨、修行僧众海会围绕0 x& n. ]" n1 X; C
。《宝箧经》云:“掌中观想诸供品,供养一尊佛陀前,供养诸佛亦复然,仙人等境仍如是
% p8 ?8 H0 ^) n, ^. t# D. [。”《华严经》中也有相同描述。
* T* a3 e) S! f6 u+ WWith a steady mind, imagine many excellent substances in your hands and offer them to Buddha 1 v% V1 ~! l" |6 h' w9 m/ F7 M
Shakyamuni or other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. If you are good at visualization, think
, ~! [6 D* ^4 X4 E+ `2 Tthroughout space and reaching the end of the universe there gather the objects of veneration & q* [' a* I0 S4 p! W
like cloud banks—lineage lamas, Buddhas of the ten directions and three times, as well as : T, E0 w1 q. E5 C
Bodhisattvas, sages, and noble Sanghas. The Sutra of Jewel Chest says: “Visualize many offering
) g7 K% Z* v( n; ~' ?( X  Gsubstances in your hands, offer them to the Buddha in front of you and to many other Buddhas
8 [2 }! [9 G/ G- \throughout the universe. Offer in the same way to all sublime beings.” Similar descriptions are
, L! O- H! d! k  I; s- s. n% ealso found in the Avatamsaka Sutra.# g9 ~0 `, H5 P1 D
再观想自己与六道之无量众生以胜妙之供养:上妙珍馐、轮王七宝、花云、天音乐云、天
9 ^3 j. r( O8 w. T! h8 P9 p伞盖云,天衣服云,天种种香:涂香、烧香、末香,如是等云,一一量如须弥山王。燃种
' d/ R) Q- C+ H$ o种灯:酥灯、油灯、诸香油灯。一一灯柱,如须弥山;一一灯油,如大海水……以如是等
* ?" v# E1 ~$ _- _! B诸供养具而为供养。
. x' `8 n2 }. {! N* ^Then imagine yourself and limitless beings of the six realms presenting the most excellent gifts:
% c* A1 U. t! dsumptuous nourishment, the seven jewels of the universal monarch, clouds of flowers, heavenly 4 w8 Y- i6 S' J8 h3 J" @- N
music, celestial parasols, angelic garment, all kinds of sublime perfumes—scented balms,
6 r* R7 D+ x/ W2 O* T0 uaromatic incense, fragrant powders, and so on. Each of these cloud offerings is equal in quantity - x, V5 `0 K- ]# U+ k/ Y2 |
to Mt. Meru. Also present lamps of various kinds—butter lamps, oil lamps, and lamps of sweet 2 }+ m3 X$ u: t6 N5 k5 r6 f
perfumes, the wick of each lamp the size of Mt. Meru, the burning oil the amount of ocean
5 j) j. g) ?0 j6 p- D! vwater. Ceaselessly offer such gifts in veneration., N- U/ Y: q1 k  G
麦彭仁波切云:“等持意供者,以信心与恭敬心为基,由等持幻变无边之供云,以智慧了知
4 M$ L& V$ R+ L& g3 g) d彼无自性者也。”- H! v6 L2 l1 k7 Q$ W
Mipham Rinpoche teaches: “When making mental offerings, first establish faith and devotion, 9 V" H: z, y  q
then in a state of concentration imagine limitless offerings as cloud banks; at the same time,
1 P5 G. ~: v9 l: {& E* T: ~! @realize with wisdom that none of them has any real essence.”
9 c% q; S( Z7 Y% R; t4 i3 e8 P由此可见,与其为供养上师、佛陀而以欺骗手段造作恶业,还不如以清净心意幻供养为妙8 }0 _8 ^* w/ K" c  R
Hence, in honoring spiritual masters and the Buddhas, it would be better to make mental / W4 G& B% C7 J
offerings with a pure mind, rather than to make material offerings through trickery or deception.1 U+ H3 u; {" @0 E, m/ Z) c) j9 E
供养乃为令诸佛菩萨欢喜之法,“上报四重恩,下济三途苦”是每位佛子之本分。但如果为
+ c5 K4 ?; j* j. @供养佛菩萨而伤害其它众生,实为舍本趋末之颠倒行为。  D6 C) Z" H; p9 [
Making offerings is a skillful means to please the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Every follower of % o# W1 Y% w4 G' ^. @* k$ R
Buddhism should advocate, “repaying the four great kindnesses and easing the sufferings of the 4 m! B$ _% u1 t& ]# |! m: d
three realms.” But should we harm other living beings in the name of offerings to the Buddhas ! I' B5 }/ i: k* [% ?% B6 V; d9 ^
and Bodhisattvas, it would be a perverted act that barters the trunk for branches.
7 ?9 H2 T0 c9 [- X; ^; S4 H0 [如果每天利用片刻时间,以观想自性清净力之缘起,而修持意幻供养,定会获得无边功德
: C. }; O( M, o, y- j" \# v. xEvery day, take just a few minutes to practice mental offering with a mind arising from innate . s- f; A9 ^) z4 C( i3 w: `: ?0 C
purity. By doing so, we are sure to accumulate boundless merit.
. @. K* Q3 e9 H众生能依靠如此之多的方便法积累二资,真是令人欢喜。
7 w0 T8 [$ ]" ^  iThere are many skillful means like this for us to accumulate the two merits of wisdom and 9 J: X6 M  ]/ ?) X& l" @6 Y! U& k% q
compassion. How wonderful!4 a# B  Z7 _0 M$ y0 e+ y- C5 O
