% N8 `' E. Y% _全知麦彭仁波切的大弟子,直品单比尼玛是青海班玛县人。他在8岁时就能将《入行论》讲+ h% r5 d2 T7 C0 r! c8 k0 k

3 h: v- N. |( ]2 Y9 v% R得十分精彩。他时常手拿与身体高矮不相上下的书夹(藏地以竹、木所制,用于搁放经书之
7 k, ]5 _  Y, f+ s( b+ R- \
2 R0 P. v& t3 c/ _4 P夹板,长的约2市尺),为别人传讲。令多年闻思之人也咂咂称奇。

) W% e; j: L3 \2 `  n/ Z7 qJikme Tenpe Nyima of Pema, Qinghai, was the chief disciple of the great Ju Mipham Rinpoche.

( M" y# i; g$ FWhen he was barely 8 years old, he was able to give excellent teachings on A Guide to the/ L- w* `- m4 i+ P' x7 g

: w  r. X8 o: v+ ]/ F1 ]- q. CBodhisattva Way of Life. On such occasions he usually held a text holder (the Tibetan traditional, D3 @4 F7 v1 c* u, R5 q, D
  L! w$ I* }  ?  a( f
text holders are made of silk brocade reinforced with bamboo, about 2-chi long) of almost the
3 X# ^- f2 u2 s* c# @: |" L6 |' N& i. `  K# s( m' ~
same length as his height, a sight that made people, even those with years of Dharma practice," @/ u! l) `; `* U) ]: O' T) I

, _8 V( c+ D! G一定障碍。因此应当常时恭敬祈祷上师,精进修持,才能证悟心的本面。自己通达之后,
  K8 p# O9 U- _6 l9 v
3 \- q( A/ ?- L0 Z* ^不离观心性的同时,翻阅《七宝藏》等经论,自己的觉相、妙观察智会越发增上,必将有* m& S9 B: I+ |" U0 g: M7 G

" R1 }7 B: ]2 G2 c  VJikme Tenpe Nyima left future generations many poems and jewel-like treatises on the Great
/ z7 H0 t5 H2 M4 t) l: O4 [) m: V* K. h7 }1 P# a
Perfection and the Great Illusory Net. Here are some selections as food for thought: “The
. M2 x4 h6 o) L8 F% ]+ ^1 ?- }  c" |! S' `& e3 P
profound truth of primordial wisdom is difficult to grasp by people who are inclined to analysis
" s& \: v$ q1 W' X
! s' P& i. r- P5 Rand logic. It is only through constant praying to the lama with devotion and faith, coupled with
5 t$ Q6 Z9 Q9 T) E/ ?
7 [5 D3 a, y6 i( M7 V( {6 y7 qdiligent practice that we come to see the true face of the mind. As we get better, we can
6 s/ j9 l6 V5 y& {
: U5 u0 q8 l4 X$ {& I2 S, B" Nmaintain this recognition of the mind even as we are reading scriptures such as the Seven
6 x1 P( W( W0 Y
$ u4 d3 @& T2 UTreasures. Our insight and discriminating awareness will gradually increase, bringing us great
( p% V" F3 R5 v% v" B: M* E9 {' U7 n/ N6 ^7 d7 b
benefit.”

/ r6 h, L( {" ^  c' R  @$ x) V# Z因此,如果能够一边观心性一边看书,或一边念咒一边看书都非常殊胜。江直仁波切说
5 `# {/ [3 d* K5 n7 K! i/ z
4 G! q0 S) I$ G* O:“边看书边念咒有很大功德。初学者不能同时施行,到一定境界后就可以了。”
) K; U$ A$ T# {% N
- K" ?. l- a7 Q0 v0 q4 T
Therefore combining the task of reading text with the practice of seeing the mind’s nature or
: w4 W6 ~# u: S; F. x5 l+ ~! l
+ w1 j+ _6 R7 N2 y, uwith the recitation of mantras is most wonderful. Gyangze Rinpoche says: “To recite a mantra, h3 B. Z2 J8 A5 t, _9 J
. V  A, X2 X) z. n' p' c
and to read scripture at the same time is very meritorious. This multitasking could be difficult for
  x# j. N# N6 P
, a' z, s+ K; @# Y& }* Q5 va beginner, but the time will come when he reaches a certain level of practice.”

Many khenpos at our academy are adept at this practice; this is how they manage to accumulate

astonishing numbers of mantra recitations over the years.

$ X, Z; x4 }. T  `6 [/ j/ ^然而有的人却自视高明,既不看书,也不念咒,将宝贵的岁月白白荒废,真是枉为修行人  j  R5 K& \9 x1 a% D1 i: _/ S
7 B  c6 i* E+ Z0 i, D! a0 P' D
了!

( k' ~( M. U8 L: F/ D" f
3 \2 u" U6 ~" M) d" pNonetheless, there are people with high opinions of themselves who neither bother to read
; M+ H. @, T1 h8 L: a0 v* Y! r' Q" W0 @, D: d* j! u& t
books nor recite mantras. They waste their precious lives meaninglessly and do not deserve the
% w$ w6 N8 x' r: W: m
" N  K! Y7 O( V6 lname of practitioners!+ b# l3 ?- d, X7 c  G
& K& n. p  `* r2 S; ]2 [
