According to a survey conducted by Hurun Research Institute on Thursday, over 90 percent of wealthy Chinese are optimistic about China's economy. Over the last six months, 449 individuals with personal assets over 10 million yuan took park in the survey, which is now in its 13th year. Chinese people in general expressed optimism for the country's economy. Though the pace of GDP growth slowed once again over the past year, over 90% of interviewees were optimistic about economic prospect, with 28% saying they were "very confident." The survey also found that wealthy citizens in China are less willing to immigrate overseas compared to previous years. The real estate industry has become the main field for personal investment. 30% of interviewees choose real estate as their first choice for investment, which is 4 percent higher than last year. 64% of interviewees were positive that property prices would go up in the next two years. |
