BEIJING, June 13 (Xinhuanet) -- British singing sensation Susan Boyle made a comeback Friday when she stepped on to the stage first time for the Britain's Got Talent live tour in Birmingham. Boyle, 48, was hospitalized after collapsing following her coming runners up in the Britain's Got Talent show two weeks ago. The Scottish spinster was given a standing ovation after performing two songs back to back. The audience got to their feet and cheered as Boyle walked out in front of them. Boyle had become an internet phenomenon and global celebrity after appearing on the show. Her stunning audition for the TV show was viewed some 90 million times on YouTube.She was hot favourite to win but came second amid reports of erratic backstage behaviour and was admitted the day after the grand final.
