HONG KONG, June 21 -- Hong Kong's Department of Health announced Sunday that up to 2:30 p.m., there had been 65 newly confirmed cases of Influenza A/H1N1 in the past 24 hours. The figure brings the total number of Influenza A/H1N1 cases to320 in the special administrative region of China. The new cases involved 32 males and 33 females aged between 7 and 57 years old, said the department, adding that 4 secondary schools had been advised to suspend classes for 14 days in relation to students who were confirmed to have been infected with the virus. As of 2:30 p.m. Sunday, a total of 164 confirmed cases have been discharged from public hospitals upon recovery, the remaining cases in hospital have been stable. |
