TOKYO, July 21 -- Four people were confirmed dead, and five were missing after a mudslide occurred near a nursing home for the elderly in the city of Hofu, Yamaguchi Prefecture of Japanon Tuesday, Kyodo News reported, quoting local police sources. A person at the facility made an emergency call shortly before 2 p.m., saying mud had flown into the home, Kyodo said. |
