China welcomes Netherlands' products into the domestic market, said Chinese Premier Li Keqiang during his visit to a high-tech exhibition with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in The Hague, the Netherlands on Tuesday.

Premier Li and his Dutch counterpart heard introductions from various Dutch enterprises concerning fields of semiconductor, aviation, bioscience, and manufacturing.

"China welcomes your products," said Premier Li while viewing a system of cancer diagnosis and treatment. He also acknowledged the significance of a biotechnology that will facilitate the protection of the environment and sustainable development.

At a greenhouse technology booth, Li tried on a pair of intelligent glasses to experience the live-action of agricultural technologies which could provide remote technical solutions for Chinese farmers.

Li and Rutte also joined a symposium with representatives of Dutch entrepreneurs who expressed their willingness to deepen mutual innovation cooperation and make their contributions to China's development.

China is a crucial market in the world, said representatives, hoping that the Chinese government will continue to support foreign enterprises to invest directly in China, and further improve relevant policies and regulations to create a better business environment.

After hearing the speeches, Li expressed China will expand the investment opportunities to the foreign companies and market entry and highlighted all the registered companies will be treated equally.

"Any transfer of IPR must be based on the will of the enterprises, China by no means allows forced transfer of IPR," said Premier Li.

Without IPR protection, innovation cooperation is impossible and expansion of investment in the Chinese market would lack foundation, he added.
