[Photo provided to China Daily] New energy vehicles shall not have driving or purchasing restrictions in all localities in China, according to a promotional plan released by the National Development and Reform Commission and two other departments on Thursday. Restrictions on driving or purchasing that have been implemented should be canceled, NDRC said. Local governments that have implemented restrictions on vehicle purchases should speed up the shift from restricting purchasing to guiding usage based on the effects of urban traffic congestion, pollution control and managing traffic demand, the commission added. |
