Carrie Lam hopes 'four actions' will break the deadlock in HK

Carrie Lam, chief executive of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), revealed the details of the four actions she proposed on Wednesday, saying that she is looking forward to breaking the deadlock in the city, as she addressed the media on Thursday.

There are still concerns after bill withdrawal announcement yesterday, Lam said, noting that she and her team would set up a dialogue platform and visit communities, offering people from different classes and positions to explore the solution.

Carrie Lam made the comments a day after she announced the formal withdrawal of the fugitive bill.
