KATHMANDU, Nov. 7 -- The Nepal-India home secretary-level meeting concluded in Kathmandu Saturday with the two sides agreeing to cooperate with each other in regulating the border and checking cross-border crimes and human trafficking.

Speaking at a press conference held at the end of the meeting, Nepal's Home Secretary Govind Kusum said the two countries have expressed commitment not to allowing each other's soil against the neighbor.

"The two countries have agreed to extend all kinds of support for mutual benefit," he said.

The two sides will hold regular meetings to improve border security, check cross-border crime and smuggling of fare currencies.

The visiting 10-member Indian delegation was led by Indian Home Secretary G. K. Pillai.
