Minor earthquake hits NE China county

BEIJING, Dec. 19 -- An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale struck Jidong County in China's northeastern Heilongjiang Province at 21:26 (Beijing time) Saturday, the China Earthquake Networks Center reported.

The epicenter was at 45.2 degrees north latitude and 131.3 degrees east longitude with a depth of 10 kilometers.
