BEIJING, Dec. 21 -- An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale struck Delingha City of northwest China's Qinghai Province at 1:15 p.m. (Beijing time) Monday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center. The epicenter was detected at 37.5 degrees north latitude and 96.7 degrees east longitude with a depth of 10 kilometers. |
