(Photo/ Provided to China News Service) (ECNS) -- At least four people have been confirmed dead and 41 others injured after a 6.1- magnitude earthquake jolted Lushan County of Ya'an City in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Wednesday afternoon, said local government officials at a press conference on Thursday. All the injured have been sent to hospitals. The earthquake hit Lushan County at 5 p.m. Wednesday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center. The quake was monitored at 30.37 degrees north latitude and 102.94 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 17 kilometers.
