On July 30, commenting on the news report about UK plc cutting ties with China as a reaction to tough talks on China by UK politicians, Ambassador Zheng Zeguang (@AmbZhengZeguang) pointed out in a Tweet that anti-China rhetoric by UK politicians is creating uncertainties &unease in UK business community, thus heaping more pressure upon rocketing cost of living here. "The smart UK businesses know too well that decoupling with China will be disastrous to their global competitiveness: This won't work!" wrote Ambassador Zheng.
