Four moderate earthquakes measuring 5.0-5.9 on the Richter scale rocked Indonesia's Aceh province on Saturday, with the strongest one being felt at Sinabang city that lies near the epicenter, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics said in a statement. The earthquakes were centered at 14-265 kilometers southwest and west of Sinabang city and at depth of 14-23 kilometers under seabed. According to the agency, the earthquakes were occurred at 18:23 local time (1123 GMT), 18:36 (1136 GMT), 18:45 (1145) and 23:26 ( 1626 GMT). The agency did not release a tsunami warning. |
